We are thrilled to be announcing the new joint project from two of Melbourne/Naarm’s most exciting groups – Bones and Jones & Folk Bitch Trio. The ‘Friendly Neighbour / If I Was A Man’ 7 inch collaboration will be released on February 25 through Bonsai Records. First single ‘Friendly Neighbour’ is out now, following its premiere with Henry Wagons on Double J earlier this week.
Born out of a mutual respect and interest in each other’s music, the two bands worked over one weekend to record and produce ‘Friendly Neighbour / If I Was A Man’. The 9 piece supergroup recorded in an old apple cool room turned state of the art studio Big Fridge Sounds, which is home to sound engineer Jasper Jolley (Bones and Jones) on regional Vic/Wurundjeri Country.
The ‘Friendly Neighbour / If I Was A Man’ from Bones and Jones & Folk Bitch Trio will be launched at The Northcote Social Club on February 25th.
Tickets on sale now so don’t snooze!
