Passenger recently re-recorded and re-imagined his phenomenal breakthrough album ‘All The Little Lights’ with a special new Anniversary Edition of the album. It included new duet versions of fan favourite tracks with the help of Ed Sheeran, Gabrielle Aplin, Foy Vance and Nina Nesbitt, the latter of whom now joins him in the new video for ‘Feather On The Clyde’.
Now given a fresh touch of elegance courtesy of Nina, ‘Feather On The Clyde’ continues to be one of Passenger’s personal favourites from his song book. Filmed in a suitably atmospheric monochrome, the video sees the two artists performing an endearing love letter to Glasgow at various locations across the city. Both the video and the song capture the distinct atmosphere and character that makes Glasgow a place quite unlike anywhere else.
This ‘Feather On The Clyde’ video completes a series of visuals for the reimagined duets that feature on the Anniversary Edition of the album. It follows ‘Let Her Go’ with Ed Sheeran, ‘Life’s For Living’ with Foy Vance, and ‘Circles’ with Gabrielle Aplin. All four videos were directed by Nic Minns.
Assisted by the global smash ‘Let Her Go’, the original ‘All The Little Lights’ album changed Passenger’s life, elevating him from a touring busker to become an internationally renowned artist. The record climbed charts all over the world, peaking at #3in the UK (where it’s now approaching double-Platinum), #3 on Billboard’s Independent Albums in the States, and #2 in Australia. ‘Let Her Go’ was just as impactful, landing at #2 in the UK (5 x Platinum), #5 in the US (6 x Platinum) and scoring nineteen international #1s as it exceeded a staggering 2 billion streams, as well as another 3.5 billion views at YouTube.
Passenger further put the spotlight back on the album by embarking upon his most intimate UK tour in years. Calling at several venues that he played when the album was first released as well as the glorious Union Chapel, the entire tour sold-out within a day.
His first plans for 2024 have been confirmed with the news that he will headline Kew The Music on July 11th. Tickets can be purchased HERE.
