New York-born and raised producer and musician Nate VanDeusen unleashed his latest single, ‘Summer Dreams’, on September 13th, 2024 via Nate VanDeusen Music. Boasting over 125 million streams across platforms and support from the likes of BBC Radio Wales, Mixmag, and T.H.E. Music Essentials, his music has also been uploaded on major YouTube channels WaveMusic, Sensual Musique, Tropical House Records and Supreme. Nate VanDeusen is clearly carving out a place for himself in the industry and shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon.
As a child, Nate was captivated by his father’s acoustic guitar performances and renditions of Led Zeppelin and The Doors. By 15, he had his own guitar in hand, swiftly diving into songwriting and recording with a vintage tape recorder. Before long, he was collaborating with various bands, embracing the early 2000s tech scene to record and produce their music on GarageBand, and has made great strides in building his skills since then. Produced, mixed and mastered by Nate himself, ‘Summer Dreams’ draws from his influences like Lost Frequencies to create a sound that would ensnare fans of Tropical House giants like Robin Schulz, Alle Farben and Klingande.
Nate VanDeusen developed a fondness for the summer lifestyle due to the long frozen months that New York brings each year. To him, it felt only natural to create music that gave listeners that same warm, exhilarating summer feeling. ‘Summer Dreams’ is a track that truly lives up to its name. Radiantly lush Tropical House production, sweet nostalgic guitar strums, and Nate’s soothing, wistful vocal’s capture the spirit of yearning for the joy and escapism that summer offers.
Nate VanDeusen shared: “Summer Dreams brings me a feeling that only summer can. I first wrote this song while sitting at the pool with some friends and really thinking that these moments will soon be like a dream, so I needed to find a way to relive the experience in my mind. I always feel that the best music evokes strong emotions, whether that being loneliness, joy, or nostalgia, I have always tried to create music that brings people the feeling of contentment and peace of mind in their lives.”
