Perfectly positioned to become the UK’s biggest international country-pop star, Twinnie steps closer to that destiny with the news that she will release her second album ‘Something We Used To Say’ on November 8th.
The album will see her soar to the next level having achieved great thing with her previous releases: landing Radio 2’s Album of the Week for her debut album ‘Hollywood Gypsy‘; exceeding 25 million streams for her first US label release, the ‘Welcome To The Club’ EP; and releasing the ambitious, two-chapter ‘Blue Hour’ project. She also recently made history as the first British artist to perform the American national anthem at Geodes Park, home of MLS team Nashville SC and also recently made her history-making Grand Ole Opry debut
‘Something We Used To Say’ radically raises the bar for Twinnie, her timeless country vocal talent adorning the strongest set of songs she has ever written. The expansive 22-song charts a significant chapter in Twinnie’s life, documenting the devastation of the end of her long-term relationship and attempting to move on with the songs that featured on the ‘Blue Hour’project. But the album’s wealth of new material sees her heading confidently into an empowering new stage in her life, as she captures the whirlwind of emotions that come with an inspiring new romance. Wherever you currently are on the road of love’s tumultuous highs and lows, ‘Something We Used To Say’ offers relatable and escapist songs that will soothe your sorrows or elevate your bliss.
Her current single ‘Hypothetically’ captures the heady rush and endless possibilities that arise when it seems as if a situationship could blossom into a relationship. Twinnie says, “This song marks a new era for me, moving to Nashville and finding love again. ‘Hypothetically’ is all about having a crush on your friend and getting the courage to tell them in hopes you won’t ruin your friendship.”
Accompanied by the new ‘Hypothetically’ video – Twinnie’s magnetic performance is charged with the excitement and passion that comes with finding a new love. She adds, “The video was shot in Nashville in under 50 minutes with my co-writer on the song and fellow artist Grace Gunn. It was shot by Joey Shader, a great director in town.”
