enigmatic, anonymous producer and multi-instrumentalist deathbypeanuts, releases highly anticipated debut EP, “R.I.P.” Known for their unique masked persona, deathbypeanuts preserves a sense of mystery, focusing attention solely on their music. This EP is a boundary-pushing fusion that unites the distinctive sounds of featured artists Amina, Moses Yoofee and Noah Furbringer (from Moses Yoofee Trio), J.A.D.E, and more.
From soulful, playful piano tunes and reversed acoustic textures to indie-style guitars and gritty R&B beats, “R.I.P.” showcases a diverse range of genres underpinned by deathbypeanuts’ distinctive production. Each track blends these artists’ energies into a coherent, transformative experience, with the producer’s unmistakable tone acting as a binding thread.
deathbypeanuts uses his pseudonym as a symbol for life’s fragility and the ephemeral nature of creative synergy, much like his deadly peanut allergy. Each collaboration on “R.I.P.” captures this ethos, allowing a delicate balance between vulnerability and power in every note.
