The Moss’ ‘FREE RIDE’ EP + 6 Week U.S. Tour Announcement

Originating on the shores of Oahu as teenage buddies, Tyke James (vocals/guitar) and Willie Fowler (drums) formedThe Moss and recently added Tyler Harris (guitar) to complete the band.  As the group’s principal songwriter, Tyke channels his own personal experiences and passions into The Moss’ radiant and deceptively sunny tunes—their unique version of organic indie rock draws from artists like Pinegrove and Kevin Morby for sonic inspiration. 

The band’s insightful songs and memorable live shows have earned The Moss acclaim across the music press world, including Alternative Press, Under The Radar, The Alternative, LADYGUNN, Earmilk, Atwood Magazine & OnesToWatch.

The band’s new FREE RIDE EP features the new single “Oasis” which Tyke says is about “finding someone at a point in time who makes you feel seen. It’s about how necessary but fleeting it is to have someone to talk to.”  The Moss also just announced a new 6 week spring 2026 headline tour which will begin on April 2nd in Seattle.
