Legendary left-field UK musician, producer and label founder µ‑Ziq is gearing up to unveil an expansive remix of emerging IDM artist Textbook Maneuver’s ‘Adrenaline Slip’, slated for release on November 7th, 2025 via LLC Records. µ‑Ziq, known for work beyond the project as Mike Paradinas, is a multi-hyphenate artist and founder of the influential record label Planet Mu. Textbook Maneuver is a Bronx-born, New Jersey-based composer emerging as one of experimental electronic music’s most intriguing new figures. A classically-trained pianist with a punk DIY heart, he blends cerebral sound design with cinematic storytelling, drawing from influences ranging from Genesis (Duke era), Rush, and Gary Numan to The Postal Service, U.N.K.L.E., and Phantogram. His releases balance the intellectual curiosity of IDM with the emotional resonance of ambient and prog-influenced electronica, producing soundscapes suitable for film, television, and interactive media. µ-Ziq shared: “The starting point for my remix of Adrenaline Slip was the one of the stems, an Alchemy patch which sounds like a distorted electric guitar. I processed and cut it up, adding a breakbeat and tried to make it all a bit dreamy and smeared inspired by 90s shoegaze bands like MBV and early Swervedriver.”
