Authentic Artist Nuit Oceān RELEASES ‘TILL THE DAWN’ Single

Emerging electro-modern soul project Nuit Oceān returns with his first release in three years, releasing his new single ‘TILL THE DAWN’ via Fevrier Records. Following a series of acclaimed EPs, including Island and Fire Divine, the project has surpassed 13.7 million streams across platforms while earning support from major outlets such as Vogue France, Rolling Stone France, Tsugi, Aficia, and NOCTIS Magazine. Known for immersive live performances, Nuit Oceān has appeared at NRMAL Fest in Mexico alongside Swans, Future Islands, and Phantogram, and performed at Supersonic and Silencio, David Lynch’s iconic Parisian club, as well as opening for artists including Cat Power and The Acid (the side project of RY X) – establishing himself as a rising voice in the French independent scene.

Hailing from and based in Bordeaux, France, Nuit Oceān grew up surrounded by music, with Sade and Tracy Chapman constantly playing at home – a formative influence that shaped his early musical sensitivity. As a teenager, the discovery of Nirvana proved revelatory, delivering an emotional shock that would leave a lasting imprint and remain a core reference to this day. After spending several years living in London, his sound continued to evolve, absorbing the city’s rich electronic and experimental culture. Today, Nuit Oceān operates at the intersection of dream pop, electro and modern soul, crafting immersive, nocturnal soundscapes that drift between melancholy and calm. Blending airy vocals, minimalist electronic textures and deep reverberations, Nuit Oceān’s new single will resonate with listeners of James Blake, Burial and Mount Kimbie. 

‘TILL THE DAWN’ opens with vast, wintery sawtooths that usher in a glitchy yet subdued beat that blossoms into a full-bodied instrumental, as Nuit Oceān’s wistful vocals stretch across the soundscape, blending cinematic grandeur with intimate emotion.

Speaking on the track, Nuit Oceān divulged: “The Nuit Oceān project has been on hold for three years. It really mattered to me to come back with something meaningful, more refined, both technically and emotionally. This track is a true return, and I don’t plan on stopping anytime soon. I have a distinct, strange, and unique universe that deserves its place, and I hope it will resonate with a wider audience.”
