SKERRYVORE SHARE THE NEW SCOTLAND WORLD CUP ANTHEM ‘NEVER STOPPED DREAMING’

It’s been 28 years since Scotland last qualified for the World Cup, but this summer will finally see the Tartan Army return to the tournament with the passion, joy and commitment that they’re famous for – no Scotland, no party. And despite years of near misses and underwhelming performances, the fans have always turned up in numbers as they never stopped dreaming. That’s something that national heroes Skerryvore now celebrate as they share their own Scotland World Cup anthem ‘Never Stopped Dreaming’

Rich with traditional Scottish sounds, ‘Never Stopped Dreaming’ has both the anthemic qualities and rousing choruses to make it a fan favourite throughout the World Cup – and its blend of hope, defiance and belief provides the perfect atmosphere whether they’re celebrating or commiserating.

Skerryvore’s Alec Dalglish says, “‘Never Stopped Dreaming’ is an anthemic Celtic folk-rock celebration of Scotland’s long-awaited return to the World Cup after 28 years. Built for stadium singalongs, festival crowds and football fans everywhere, the track captures the pride, camaraderie and unwavering belief of the Tartan Army. With soaring choruses, driving energy and Skerryvore’s signature Celtic sound, it’s a feel-good anthem about unity, hope and never giving up on the dream.”

Skerryvore will play a special World Cup warm-up party at Glasgow Barrowland tomorrow.  Both the show and the single will proudly support Street Soccer Scotland, with £1 from every ticket sold going directly to the charity and social enterprise that uses football themed programmes to create lasting positive change
