‘Barry Live In Britain’ captures the kind of magical performance that has made Barry Manilow the undisputed #1 Adult Contemporary artist of all time and a GrammyTony and Emmy-winning icon. Recorded at London’s world famous Royal Albert Hall in January 1982, the set is packed with Barry’s most-loved songs and biggest hits, including ‘Mandy’,‘Copacabana (At the Copa)’‘Could It Be Magic’ and many more.

Released that same year, ‘Barry Live In Britain’ went straight to #1 on the UK’s Official Album Chart as it spent seven weeks in the Top 10 and it was quickly certified Platinum in recognition of 300,000+ sales. It is one of seven of his albums to break into the UK Top 10. His Stateside success is even more astonishing, with 51 Top 40 singles, including 12 #1 smashes and 27 Top 10 hits while his total album sales are now in excess of 85 million.

Barry Manilow was recently named as USA Today’s #1 Show in Las Vegas with his wildly successful MANILOW: LAS VEGAS – The Hits Come Home! concert series and recently surpassed Elvis Presley’s record number of performances on this iconic stage. Further Las Vegas shows run through to the end of the year. Last week he also set the record for most concerts ever performed at Radio City Music Hall in New York City.

Next on the horizon is The Last London Concerts, which begin with a huge arena show at Manchester’s Co-op Live before embarking upon a fourteen-night residency at London Palladium – the same venue where he first began his love affair with the British public all the way back in 1978.
