Blake Rose is back with the self-penned new single, ‘Demon,’ out today via AWAL Recordings. Blake debuted the track live to a rousing response for the first time on singer-songwriter Ashe’s Fault Line Tour, which saw his leg wrap last week in Atlanta. Speaking about the new song, Blake reveals, “‘Demon’ is a song about the people that make you feel like you’re not good enough.” The video is paired with a nostalgic and fun music video, directed by Logan Fields.
‘Demon’ serves as the follow up to Blake’s song ‘Confidence,’ released earlier this year. The two tracks offer up a first taste of new music from the rising artist in 2022, and follows the release of his debut EP, ‘A World Gone By’ last year.
Speaking about ‘Confidence,’ Blake explained, “‘Confidence’ is about lacking the self-esteem and confidence to realize that you can do better than the current romantic situation you’re in. I think a lot of people settle for disloyal partners because they think it’s all they deserve but, everyone deserves a partner who loves them and is faithful.”
