Uniting raucous melodies with unfiltered angst, Boy Bleach continue to position themselves further into the punk-rock soundscape with their latest single ‘Dance No More’.
Channelling their frustrations towards the innately biased structure of society in ‘Dance No More’, the band’s ability to weave conscious opinion with anthemic basslines is instilled to its highest degree. The track follows on from their recently released EP ‘or are you normal?’ a 5-track project which saw the band delve into their mutually held experiences of toxic masculinity, mental health and societal expectations – cementing the fivesome not only as credible musicians collectively but also as five individuals engaging with the world around them and upholding real, relevant opinions.
Early releases were quickly supplemented by an EU support tour with global pop-punk artist YUNGBLUD and a sold-out headline show at The Waiting Room, London. Sitting alongside their current release plan, the band have just set off to support Only The Poets on their EU tour (7th-13th
Aug), will perform as this year’s Reading and Leeds festival, Neighbourhood Festival, and are soon to sell out their forthcoming headline show at Camden Assembly, London – this October 11th.
‘Dance No More’ lands as the first instalment to a set of very exciting singles, looking to take Boy Bleach through to what will be an equally exciting second half to 2022.
