Canadian singer-songwriter and newly nominated Mississauga’s “Best New Artist” Bree Taylor releases her music video for her latest country single Drive on September 20th, 2019. Bree released Drive to airwaves on September 6th hot on the heels of her debut country single Turn It Up which has been on national radio since June 2019 and is pushing the limits between country music and pop music with huge crossover appeal.
Inspired by the need to escape from life’s daily stresses and anxieties, Drive was written as a road trip song that does just that. The music video gives listeners a new way to enjoy the song and escape into the beautiful scenic landscapes of California making you feel like you were right there. “I really wanted this music video to let people feel like they were able to escape from whatever they are going through and truly enjoy the song the way I envisioned it when writing and recording it.” says Bree Taylor
Drive is available on all streaming platforms including, Spotify, Apple Music and Google Play Music.
Bree continues to make her mark in the Canadian music scene with her transition from pop to country music. Her heart was firmly rooted in country music despite her recent success of her first EP “Unbreakable” recorded in Los Angeles followed by a 12-city Canada wide summer tour promoting the record. Combining the sounds of pop and country was perfect for this singer-songwriter who is also an engaging storyteller, “I feel like country music is the right place for me and feels like home.”
This summer 2019 she shined at Rock the Coliseum performing at the outdoor Mississauga Music festival along with her debut at the legendary Horseshoe Tavern in Toronto to benefit Ovarian Cancer.
Bree has been nominated for the Best New Artist Award for the Mississauga Music Awards and the winners in all categories will be announced on September 27, 2019 at Mississauga’s Living Arts Centre.
With a career and brand built on authenticity, honesty and resilience, Bree’s creative ambitions have no limitations. No matter what life throws at her, Bree is and always will be a fighter and she will keep writing songs, keep singing and will remain truly unapologetically Bree!
Bree holds philanthropy close to her heart supporting causes like Mental Health Awareness, Cancer research and Anti-Bullying initiatives.
