Fast becoming known for her dreamy jazz-infused melodies and raspy vocals, Carrie Baxter delivers an acoustic, alternate version of her track ‘You’, Lyrically, ‘You’ presents itself as confessional tale of devotion and unconditional love, with this stripped-back release seeing Carrie at her most open and intimate. 

Baxter truly unveils all in this track as it is not only a one-take recording, it is a completely unfiltered version of the single with no alterations from its live presentation. Led only by piano, the bare nature of the track gives Carries enchanting vocal the space to soar, with her raspy tone adding alluring character to the tender narrative, as she blossoms on this acoustic re-imagining.

The release will be supported by the announcement of a headline show in Waterford next month, a second headline tour, a four-date tour of Ireland, this September and a headline show in London.
