Frankie Crea is a musician singer/songwriter guitarist and composer from Perth, Western Australia. His musical style contains elements of melodic guitar riffs, blistering rock guitar solos, all accompanied by various instruments and lyrics that give a unique fresh sound to modern rock.
Frankie released his debut single Ketamine Queen in May 2018, receiving radio airplay around the world and also received positive reviews. Putting him on the map to follow up with a new lead single titled Dream from his upcoming debut EP album Countless Days.
Frankie Crea’s latest single Dream explores the ups and downs of his past relationships. The track serves up a unique post psychedelic, melodic and energetic vibe made to captivate the listener, alongside a soulful piano section, funky bass lines, melancholic “dreamy” guitar and vocals and hard hitting drums. The track finishes with a harmonised outro guitar solo that really defines the song title, giving a silky lucid dream like feel and sound.
“I initially recorded, mixed and mastered 15 tracks in my home studio during the sessions spanning over a few months and narrowed the EP down to six tracks. The lead single Dream accompanies it well, it’s a real deep track lyrically about how dreams can be vivid, much like relationships; there are good memories and bad memories of them.” – Frankie Crea
