Following hard-rock banger “Grinding My Teeth” and heartbreaking ballad “With Me Too,” the local to Boston hard-rock band JVK released another powerful single today called “All I Want.” Sonically resembling Arctic Monkeys and Paramore, but still creating a very unique musical atmosphere, “All I Want” is about “how you would never go back to the person you were once in love with, under any circumstances” in Jo Krieger’s words. With a fun and flirty tone, the singer-songwriter yells out in the chorus: “Your mind works like a dog / I’m taking all I got / I’m lying when I say you’re all that I want.”
From sweaty crowded house-shows to iconic rock clubs across the North East, JVK is now lined up to play one of the biggest rock festivals in the U.S., Louder Than Life, in Louisville, KY this September. Alongside rock legends
including Green Day, Queens of the Stone Age, and Turnstile, JVK proves they are here to stay.
You can listen to “All I Want” on all streaming platforms, and follow JVK on Instagram for updates on new music, tours, and more.
