Country singer Madelyn Victoria is making quite a splash in Deep South Texas with her hit single “He Only Loves Me on the Dance Floor”. The song is a beautiful traditional-sounding country tune about love, loss and heartbreak. She pulls you in emotionally with her confident vocals, realistic lyrics and an excellent backing band. No wonder the song reached #1 on the National Country AM/FM charts, won an Akademia Award for Best Country Song in 2016 and a spot on CMT.com. Her debut EP has some other great songs, especially “Breaking My Heart Again”, a honky-tonk tune. Another great song is “Wild Ride”, a straight-up rocker with some hot fiddle that absolutely sizzles.
Recently she followed in the footsteps of many of her country influences by appearing on the legendary radio station WSM 650 AM, birthplace of the Grand Ole Opry, in Nashville.
