RALEIGH, N.C. – The NC State volleyball team took part in its annual Wolfpack Challenge Friday evening inside historic Reynolds Coliseum.
The two squads played four sets with the white squad defeating the red squad, 3-1.

— The scrimmage provided NC State fans the first opportunity to see the 2014 Wolfpack in live action.
— State was divided into two teams with players switching back-and-forth between the red and white squad.
— Senior Dariyan Hopper paced the squad with 11 kills. Freshmen Julia Brown and Erica Narel also had nine kills apiece.
— Defensively, senior Alston Kearns tallied 16 digs, while redshirt freshman M.C. Preddy added 10 digs.
— At the setter position, sophomore Maggie Speaks dished out 33 assists, while junior Tanna Aljoe had 29.
