Nina Söderquist
Swedish singer Nina Söderquist has a strong, bold voice that serves her well in her stage work. The “Spamalot” actress and singer has just released a beautiful new rock ballad “Goodbye”. Duetting with Björn Skifs, Nina wrenches your heart in this broken relationship song with her warm, absorbing vocals. Not unlike Bonnie Tyler, Nina’s voice has a presence and power that is rare. A very slick production lurks behind these powerhouse voices. “Goodbye” has more of a stage/show tune feel that her previous singles, for instance the hard-rocking “Karlek”, lacked. Nonetheless, this single is a winner and hopefully the forerunner of more new material soon.
