Single Pilot
Single Pilot, the Dutch producer duo, has released two new fun singles recently, “Magic” and “Miracles”. Since moving from a full band, they now enlist guest singers for their lively musical creations. “Magic”, a smooth pop melody, features Bram Wesdorp, who is the creative mind and singer of Avi On Fire. While incorporating a funky rhythm, the vocals flow with a mellow, cool vibe that is infectious. Though still smooth, “Miracles” acts as a contrast with its upbeat rap vocals, courtesy of Arman Kanun and Jon Tarifa. The production on both of these singles absolutely glitters as the basslines and synths merge with the percussion for a full, rich sound. Hiphop and R&B meet electro-pop with winning results. Producer duo Single Pilot consists of Matteo Iannella and Jeroen van Leeuwen. Both studied at the Conservatory of Amsterdam and were finalists at the famous Dutch competition “De Grote Prijs van Nederland” in 2015. Back then, the group was a full band with an electro-funk repertoire, nowadays it is a two-man project with guest vocals.
