After a period of silence, TAPE TOY is back stronger than ever, with new music, fresh energy, and even closer friendships. Over the past few months, they struck gold with a new studio and rehearsal space in Amsterdam Noord. They share this beautiful space with other inspiring musicians and they even have their own bar! It doesn’t get much better than this.
Through endless experimentation in their new space, they’ve created a new sound. And you can hear that in “Anyone, Anything.” The single contains it all: playful samples, powerful guitars, angular beats, and a personal glimpse into singer Roos her mind.
“Anyone, Anything” describes the emotional rollercoaster of getting to know someone and then having to let go; the butterflies and the tension that come with it, from the first moment you meet to the point of goodbye.
