Leading Brighton’s music scene, three-pieceThe Dryas releases their brand-new, euphoric single ‘Run’ which is available on all major streaming platforms.
Made up of Hudd Hunter-Smith, Luke Cowie and Conor Tagg, the self-produced trio launched their musical journey in 2021 after moving from their hometown in Kent. Before that, they were all involved in their own projects and different bands and they had done it since they were teenagers. After multiple lockdowns, the band felt it was the right time to kick off The Dryas after minor setbacks and disruptions the pandemic brought to them. Their 2020 debut releases ‘Boy’ and ‘Make You Mine’ set the course for their success.
The band have teamed up with producer Kristofer Harris (Ghostpoet, King No-One) as they gear up for a string of releases and projects this year.
After plays on BBC Radio 1 from Huw Stephens and Phil Taggart and being named ‘Record Of The Week’ by BBC Introducing’sAbbie McCarthy, The Dryas are building on the momentum they have created and want to show they are capable of consistently writing catchy hooks.
‘Run’ is a euphoric offering that delves into themes of relationships and love despite its optimistic tone and sultry, dream-pop sensibilities.
