Tones and I RELEASES HER DEBUT EP ‘THE KIDS ARE COMING’

Australian artist Tones and I is enjoying a breakthrough moment with her current single ‘Dance Monkey’, which is the fastest rising song on the UK’s Official Singles Chart and this week breaks the UK Top 40. Growing at a rate of 20 million streams a week, the track has peaked at #1 on Spotify’s Overall Chart in seven countries, hit #1 on the Spotify Viral Chart in 33 countries and is currently #15 on the Global Top 200.

Tones and I now amplifies that growing international attention by dropping her debut EP ‘The Kids Are Coming’. It features all three tracks which have been part of her rise to date. ‘Dance Monkey’ is joined by her debut single ‘Johnny Run Away’ which earned unprecedented support from triple j and raced to Platinum status as well as another hugely popular track in the shape of ‘Never Seen The Rain’. It’s completed by three brand new songs: the title track, ‘Colourblind’ and ‘Jimmy’. 

Tones’ sensational ascent is reflected by her growing profile in the live arena. One of her very first shows came at Splendour In The Grass, where she attracted the biggest crowd of an opening act in the festival’s history – with 20,000 fans present when she took to the stage at midday.

Next month will see her embark upon a fourteen-date Australian headline tour which sold-out in minutes, while November delivers her debut European tour. Her London show at The Lexington on November 15th sold-out months in advance, which resulted in a second date being added at the Oslo Hackney on November 16th, which also looks set to sell-out in the coming days.
