Soulful and sincere, Norwegian songstress, Marie Noreger presents her new EP ‘DDVS (‘Discodoll in the Velvet Suit’), 

Following outstanding teaser singles ‘THE VIEW’ and ‘SLOOOWLY’ which received the support of The Line of Best Fit, Colors, Notion and Wonderland Magazine, DDVS is an addictively diverse project, harnessing elements of disco, hip-hop and electronic music into her luscious modern R&B sound.

Silky pads, rich basslines and laid-back drum rhythms lay a bed to Marie’s delicate vocal performances which are melodically hypnotic and beautifully intimate, as DDVS sees some of Marie Noreger’s most alluring material to date.

Co-written with Grammy award winner Autumn Rowe, the title track ‘DDVS’ is a tale of freedom and escapism, supported by a danceable groove and a feeling of spontaneity the track is entrancing and a testament to Marie Noreger’s stellar songwriting across the EP.

In February 2022, Marie was nominated for a Norwegian Grammy (Spellemann) in the ‘R&B/Soul’ Category for the ‘Gravity’ EP. Previous, well-known winners of the prestigious awards establishment include Sigrid, Aurora, Astrid S, Cashmere Cat and Kygo.
