Hot off the heels of his previous single ‘Healing the Process’, Denis Coleman releases his new track ‘Narcissist’, Already performing this unreleased song to thousands every night whilst on tour with Little Mix, Denis Coleman is rapidly growing into a present-day phenomenon who has received due acclaim from BBC Radio 1, Wonderland, Notion, Clash Magazine and more. ‘Narcissist’ comes as a deep- coloured guitar rhythm fused with the arrival of a dominant drumbeat, laying the foundations for Denis’ lyricism. It follows the concept of narcissism in love, with particular focus on the initial honeymoon phase where every shared interest and personality trait is a source of wonder.
The release lands with accompanying music video. Filmed across the rugged Irish mountaintops, the inverted colours and drone shots transform the beautiful peaks into an uncanny valley of raw, colourful emotion. Pulsing through a derelict building littered with broken mirrors, the video depicts Denis talking to his own reflection, confronting and searching for himself in the midst of chaos.
