PHYSICAL FORMATS OF RY X’s ‘BLOOD MOON’

RY X’s third studio album ‘Blood Moon’ extended the critical acclaim that has consistently emerged throughout his career, winning praise for his ability to mix profound lyricism, melancholy moods and unorthodox production touches. Initially released digitally in June, the album is now available on limited edition smokey double-vinyl, dark red double-vinyl and CD formats, all of which are available here. The album has already reached 12 million streams to date.

Also sees RY X share a new video for the song ‘Come Back’. In a record that charts the vast boundaries of our ability to be elated or afflicted by the changing fortunes of love, ‘Come Back’ represents the lows. RY X inhabits a wealth of emotion with a paucity of lyrics, providing a simplicity to allow the song to express its full emotional magnitude. The video was again filmed on the desolate coast of Iceland, and focuses on a man whose intense physical movement acutely represents the song’s inner turmoil.

In addition to the release of ‘Blood Moon’, RY X has enjoyed some other landmark moments this summer.  One of his unreleased songs was sampled on Drake’s recent international #1 album ‘Honestly, Nevermind’, earning RY X a co-writer and co-producer credit for the US Top 10 single ‘Sticky’. Tonight he completes a long-awaited European tour, which included two beautifully set-up Communion Presents At Home Farm shows near London.

RY X’s global touring continues with North American tour dates in September and October. He will return to the UK to play two nights at London’s Roundhouse with the London Philharmonic Orchestra in March. The first date (March 29th) quickly sold-out, while limited tickets remain for the second show (March 30th). Please see here for a full list of shows and ticket information.
