ATARASHII GAKKO! Announce New Studio Album “From Tokyo With Love.” Tease “Oi AG!”

The 10-track genre-bending full-length spans everything from funk, synth-pop, rock, and high-energy anthems, encompassing crowd-moving moments with deeply personal ones. Written by the four-piece, From Tokyo with Love was built around the distinct voices and personalities of SUZUKA,KANON, MIZYU, and RIN. These collections of songs make a definitive statement that ATARASHII GAKKO! are four strong-minded creative individuals, each with their own voice, evolving together without compromise.

Having taken the world’s festival stages and venues by storm following the release of their 2024 critically acclaimed album AG! Calling, which featured the mind-bending techno-laced “Tokyo Calling” (watch their Jimmy Kimmel Live! performance), ATARASHII GAKKO! set their sights on bigger stages, audiences, and bolder artistic statements with From Tokyo with Love, the result of ten years of touring, traveling, and absorbing cultures from around the world lands — delivered with love from the city that made them.

Settings the tone with the album’s title, the band make a declaration that “love” is not romance, but “Magokoro” — a Japanese concept meaning wholehearted sincerity. It is ATARASHII GAKKO!‘s offering to the world, delivered with the confidence of a group that has spent ten years earning their place on the global stage. Tokyo, their hometown, is the album’s central metaphor: a city with deep history and authentic culture that has absorbed influences from around the world and transformed them into something entirely its own. ATARASHII GAKKO! have done the same — throwing themselves into cultures near and far, and making it their own.
