AVALON HIGHWAY Releases ‘Hope We Don’t Die Young’

Following their carefree summer single ‘Hungover In The Sun’, Mike Batt’s latest discovery – Roots band AVALON HIGHWAY are back with their newest track ‘Hope We Don’t Die Young’. This new single gives us an insight to the bands rockier side with its catchy, indie, singalong feel.

The band who all hail from near Bath, consists of singer/guitarist Joe Wiliams, lead guitarist Sam Jellyman, drummer Louis Peard, keyboardist Lewis Martin and bassist Gar Miller. The band have been recording their newest material at Rockfield Studios alongside Mike Batt and Joe Williams to create their crisp and loveable American-influenced, rock/americana sound.

Mike Batt says “There’s something infectious about this band. Every time I’ve seen them live, they’ve had the whole audience up singing along and dancing. They are like a baby stadium band, even if they are only playing in a pub.”

Having started out as favourites in around Bath and Bristol, Avalon Highway are looking ahead to get on the road in 2020.
