Global pop-powerhouse Ava Max has released her latest single and music video, “Lovin Myself”. A fearless celebration of independence, her latest offering sees Ava Max embracing her power like never before; over bright orchestration, punchy beats, and soaring vocals, she sings, “I don’t need nobody / I’m lovin myself / Tonight, it’s all about me / And it’s good for my health.” A vibrant, unshakable anthem of self-empowerment, the bold new track marks a new high in the popstar’s unstoppable career and is the latest release from her highly anticipated third album, Don’t Click Play, out on August 22 via Atlantic Records.
The accompanying video was directed by Claire Arnold and comes at a pivotal moment in Ava Max’s career. With over 22 billion global streams, multi-Platinum certifications, and an arsenal of pop smashes including “Sweet But Psycho,” “Kings & Queens,” “My Head & My Heart,” and “The Motto” with Tiësto, Ava has proven herself a singular voice in modern pop.
“Lovin Myself” serves as the follow up to “Lost Your Faith,” released earlier this Spring, alongside an official music video co-starring Finn Wittrock. The track, which Rolling Stone lauded as “resolute” with Uproxx hailing it “a driving breakup song” that “[pushes] her sound into its next phase,” will appear alongside “Lovin Myself” on the forthcoming album.
With Don’t Click Play, Ava has officially entered her most fearless era yet, one defined by brutal honesty, resilience, and unmatched pop. From heartbreak survivor to self-love icon, she’s not just back, she’s bolder than ever.
