Balsam Range takes home major awards from IBMA

Mountain Home Music Company congratulates Balsam Range for winning the International Bluegrass Music Association’s biggest award, Entertainer of the Year at this year’s awards ceremony at the Duke Energy Center in Raleigh.

This marks the third time the group has received the honor, voted on by the IBMA membership.

The guys of Balsam Range took home two other awards at the ceremony, highlighting individual talents in the group. Vocalist and fiddle player Buddy Meltonwas awarded Male Vocalist of the Year and bassist and dobro player Tim Surrettwas named Bass Player of the Year.

With these awards, Balsam Range has won more than a dozen honors at IBMA.
