Ben Eunson Releases ‘Three Of A Kind’

“Three Of A Kind” is a song is about three musicians coming together from different musical perspectives, and creating one unified musical statement.

Originally from Melbourne, Australia, Eunson learned guitar at the age of 10, and quickly began making a name for himself upon his arrival the US at age 21. Today at age 29, Ben incorporates his background and experience as well as his own unique style of improvisation into his guitar instrumentals, with inspirations of jazz, blues, R&B, prog, and indie rock.

The single is one of ten tracks on Eunson’s upcoming instrumental rock album. The record was inspired by Eunson’s previous work with Alexander Claffy and Kush Abadey in various bands throughout New York City. With the intent of bringing together the styles of all three musicians, Ben created ACE, featuring his talents on guitar with the support of Claffy on bass and Abadey on drums. Combining various genres and influences from Ben’s own career, ACE channels the various musical worlds he has inhabited. Much of the album was recorded live in the studio between September 2017-October 2018.The sessions yielded upwards of 30 songs (most of which were originals by Eunson), but was pared down to the 10 strongest tracks by Eunson and co-producer Michael Perez-Cisneros (Esperanza SpaldingKurt Rosenwinkel).
