‘The Margarita Song’ expresses Cat Lundy’s unique and flaunted talents by a way of flexibility in her genre techniques. The feel-good anthem (written during COVID-19) was written in ambition to spread positivity and optimism. Better days are yet to come, and we are nearly there!
Cat Lundy is an Irish singer songwriter, known for her deep, emotional, raw lyrics and her eclectic mix of musical genres, including pop, blues and jazz.
Cat is a classically trained singer from the Royal Academy of Music and is a self-taught guitarist. She has been described as a ‘first class storyteller’ and with raw unapologetic emotion, she delivers her truth. In the past, she has performed in New York’s ‘The Bitter End’ and she has also performed at L.A’s infamous ‘House of Blues’.
Her debut song ‘Triggerman’ amassed great airplay in Japan and led to her playing showcases in L.A.
Cat has worked with producer Ger McDonnell who has worked extensively with U2, Kasabian, The Cure and Martha Wainwright to name a few.
