Chay Snowdon return with double-single; ‘Mon Cheri’ and ‘Sha La La’

Mon Cheri’ is Chay Snowdon’s new January offering. A fast paced, mosh pit banger that is sure to make you sweat at a Chay Snowdon gig. A track extremely influenced by high profile indie and alternative artists with a kick start thrill from start to finish. Chay Snowdon quotes “listen up to the lyrics of ‘Mon Cheri’ and be transported to wherever the hell you want.” Capturing that this song will take you places and is capable of tuning in your best interests.

Whilst ‘Mon Cheri’ is a heavier indie track, ‘Sha La La’ is a slowed down track by Chay Snowdown, a perfect way to conclude the release of the tracks, a sense of reflection. The lyrics expresses living fully within the moment, quoted by the band, “living by the ethos of let’s live for tonight and deal with everything else tomorrow”. A song that will make you hold your lighter out within the audience at a show.

This Bristol based band (Liam Roberts on lead guitar, George Roach on bass, Ed Fox on drums and Chay Snowdon providing vocals and rhythm guitar) have already made their mark in the music independent scene.

The band have recently smashed their second UK tour, taking their brand of Indie Rock ‘n’ Roll to the ever-increasing crowds, having huge success selling out The Mothers Ruin in Bristol three weeks in advance as well as The Underground in Plymouth.

2017’s festival season was epic with the band wowing the crowds at Liverpool Sound City, 2000 Trees, Grillstock, Home Farm Festival, Oceanfest, Boardmasters and Looe Music Festival where they shared main stage with Reverend and The Makers and Jesus and Mary Chain.

Other massive shows of 2017 were The British Fireworks Championships and Radio Plymouths Bonfire Night Celebrations on Plymouth Hoe to crowds of around 10,000 people. As well as supporting The Sherlocks and Vant at their sold-out Bristol shows, even having time to sneak in their second live session for BBC Introducing in Devon.

This group of lads from Plymouth and Bristol are certainly spreading their word fast! jump on board and enjoy the ride!!!
