Das Mörtal ignites ‘PARASITE & GHOST’, teases ‘DECVY I’

Renowned dark synthwave producer Das Mörtal released his double single ‘PARASITE & GHOST’ on 4 June 2026 via Lisbon Lux Records. Boasting over 31.4 million streams on Spotify alone, Das Mörtalhas received media and radio support across the globe. With numerous EPs and albums to his name, he has appeared at several major festivals such as Osheaga, Transmusicales de Rennes, FME, and Meg Festival, while opening on tours for the likes of Vitalic, Perturbator, and Carpenter Brut. On stage, he has performed nearly 100 shows since 2015, including more than 70 dates in the U.S. and Europe (UK, France, Scandinavia). Further, he has been featured on prominent Spotify playlists such as Retrowave // Outrun and Darkwave.

Featuring an upbeat rhythm section and dazzling synth melodies, ‘PARASITE ‘ is a fast-paced darkwave track about illness. ‘GHOST‘, a witch-house-infused pop single, is sure to get the dance floor moving with catchy vocal melodies and driving kick drum-infused percussion. Both of these tracks set the scene wonderfully for what is to come with the full project, and are sure to strike a chord with fans of Vitalic, Perturbator, and Ø [phase]. The double single arrives ahead of Das Mörtal’s upcoming mini-album, DECVY I, due for release on 29 October 2026.

Currently based in Montréal, Das Mörtal’s journey began in Berlin, as he drew inspiration from artists like Steve Moore and Aphex Twin. The enigmatic producer focuses on a dark and nostalgic sound, skillfully blending genres from Techno to Occult Electro to horror, sci-fi film soundtracks, Italo disco, and much more.
