Emerging singer and songwriter Emma Ogier reveals her second single, “Consider Me A Winner,” out todayon Cardinal Records.
Last month, Emma released her debut single, “First Base,” to widespread support from fans and tastemakers alike. Her second single, “Consider Me A Winner,” continues to introduce listeners to her distinct Americana-flavored indie-pop sound and undeniable lyrical prowess.
“’Consider Me a Winner’ is about fear, and uncontrollable change,” Emma explains. “This song is how I imagined the next semester might be without my best friend and former roommate after I found out she was leaving. In reality, it was far from lonely. Change is inevitable and we win by adapting and evolving.”

Drawing inspiration from established artists like Lori McKenna, Phoebe Bridgers, and Joni Mitchell, her unique sound blends elements of country and indie pop, creating an evocative atmosphere that captures the hearts of her listeners. She’s already performed shows in Nashville and Los Angeles, and recently wrapped up a US tour supporting Michaela Slinger. As she continues to gain recognition and accolades, there’s no doubt that Emma Ogier is poised for a successful breakthrough this year.
