Originally formed in 2012 as a studio project, FACT PATTERN is an industrial/doom trio based out of Los Angeles. Their sound combines heavy riffs, intricate rhythms, and melodically aggressive vocals with synth programming and sound design with varying ranges. FACT PATTERN are fronted by Ian Flux, (Guitars, Vocals, & Synth). He is joined by Jack Lowd (Bass, Backing Vocals), along with Raanen Bozzio, (Drums, Percussion). FACT PATTERN have spent the last year performing live in support of established acts such as Author & Punisher and Old Iron; meanwhile wrapping up production on their full length follow-up to 2017’s “Structures” E.P. (released via Black Voodoo Records). In their new single and video for “My Guard Down”, FACT PATTERN sonically reflect upon their earlier industrial influences from the 80’s and 90’s by exploring concepts of modern fears and psychological boundaries.”
