Genre-blending singer-songwriter Georgia Webster delivers the next iteration on her musical evolution by releasing the song and video for “Delusional.” Written alongside Austin Goodloe, Joybeth Taylor, and Lydia Vaughan, Webster navigates personal heartbreak by recounting scenarios from a previous relationship. With an airy, dreamlike melody, the anthem begs the question: were the feelings mutual, or is she delusional for thinking it was something more?
The track follows her most recent release, “Attention,” which alludes to channeling an Olivia Rodrigo-esque mindset of going to extreme lengths to capture one’s attention. Defining this new era of music, Webster worked alongside producer King Henry (Sasha Sloan, Justin Bieber, Major Lazer, Beyonce) to hone in her sound and create some of the most “exciting and authentic” music she’s written so far.
Following a busy year on Kelsea Ballerini’s HEARTFIRST TOUR, Webster will embark on her headlining acoustic TOWN TALKS TOUR—making stops in multiple cities across the US.
