Exclusive Interview With Founders of Imagine Music Festival Glenn and Madeleine Goodhand

Imagine Music Festival is a four-day aquatic adventure filled with circus acts, pool parties, transformative workshops, art, wellness classes, silent discos, field games, electrifying performances and more. This year will be the second year of coverage for Itsezbreezy and once again we got the chance to ask Glenn and Madeleine Goodhand a few questions about the festival.

Hello Glenn and Madeleine. I would like to start the interview by saying IMF2018 was amazing and one of the best festivals I’ve attended. This year at IMF2019 we can expect to see top acts such as Marshmello, Seven Lions ,Diplo, Matoma, Alison Wonderland, Zeds. 

-What major changes with IMF2019 can be expected vs IMF2018 if any? This Imagine has a lot of changes or should we say new additions.  One of the biggest additions will be a fourth day of music on the Disco Inferno Stage.  Additionally, we have introduced early arrival camping, the Tech/Yes / Guerrilla 360 stage  and a Vegas-style daytime pool party on Saturday with Beatbox Beverages.

-How do you stay ahead of the competition considering IMF is the biggest EDM Festival in Atlanta? The easy answer is that we listen to our fans. Imagine cannot be an immersive experience if we are only focused on what we think the festival should be.  We have been working in the industry long enough that we have a good read on the music trends and up and coming artists, but we need that fan feedback- a lot of which we get through our interaction with them at our club, Believe in downtown Atlanta.

-Are there any new stages you guys are bringing into IMF2019? We have six stages at Imagine this year: Oceania, Amazonia, Disco Inferno, Aeria / Six Feathers, Silent Disco and our latest- TechYes / Guerrilla 360.

-Who are you most looking forward to seeing preform this year? We really can’t wait to see our stacked female lineup with Rezz, Alison Wonderland, Leah Culver, Anna Lunoe, and Nora En Pure. And of course we are also excited for Diplo and Tipper.

-What it is like for IMF to have the kind of success that it has had? It has been humbling, but we also know we have a lot of work to do.  The exciting part of creating Imagine every year is seeing how we can outdo the years prior.  We always want to go further and create an amazing experience that aligns with our dreams- and we dream big.

– I receive a lot of questions about V.I.P.  Could you explain the benefits of upgrading to V.I.P.?For guests that want a more comfortable experience VIP offers expressed entry, an exclusive area called the VIP Island by main stage with premium services like a hair salon, glitter bar, Hydration stations, premium viewing and air-conditioned restrooms.
