20-year-old Issac Ryan Brown is in his breakthrough moment. The next wave pop/R&B crossover sensation scored a UK iTunes #1 and Capital airplay with his single ‘End of the Season’ while that dynamic momentum continued with further acclaim and a spotlight interview with Mo Gilligan for the follow-up ‘Lipstick’ and set with DJ AG last month in Camden. Quickly rising to 2.1 million followers at TikTok alone, Issac now shares his latest single ‘Life of the Party’.
Superstar R&B vocals, nostalgic pop throwback style, thumping bass and an undercurrent of rock guitar all help make ‘Life of the Party’ arguably the biggest track that Issac has dropped so far. It perfectly positions him to take his ever-expanding profile to the very top – a future icon mixing contemporary R&B class with classic ’80s and ’90s elements. Its lyrics play to the party vibe, too, with a story of instant infatuation.
Issac says, ““I am so excited for the people to hear and dance to this song! I love it so much. I’ll be playing live starting in June, and this is THE song you gotta come see!!”
‘Life of the Party’ sees Issac again collaborating with the top tier collaborators who are helping him maximise his global potential. He wrote the song with Arno Spires, Chris Ballard and Wayne Hector – the latter the hitmaker whose work with One Direction, David Guetta, Nicki Minaj and many more has resulted in over 40 #1 hits and 380 million+ sales. The track is released on SSK Records, the label founded by Steven Machat, whose achievements include helping to break Bobby Brown, Babyface and LA Reid. Now he has a new talent to add to that phenomenal list.
The natural personality that Issac exudes in his songs makes him a charismatic presence in interviews, too. The Mo Gilligan podcast saw him run through his journey so far, taking in his first big TV moment with an unforgettable audition on ‘America’s Got Talent’, his early years as a childhood Disney star on ‘Raven’s Home’, and working on ‘Black-ish’ and ‘Family Guy’. Mo Gilligan even predicted that Issac’s diverse talents could result in him being a future host of his own late night TV show. He also joined The Voice for a conversation which shared his thoughts on being compared to Usher and his memories of meeting Beyoncé at the premiere of ‘The Lion King’.
That same trip also saw him join DJ AG as he hit Boxpark Camden for performances of ‘End of the Season’ and ‘Lipstick’. DJ AG’sfamous street events have featured renowned artists such as Skepta and JME.
It all shows that Issac Ryan Brown is destined for the top – expect more to come soon.
