Feeling trapped – biting your tongue out of fear that standing up for yourself might entice another destructive emotional blow. The fear keeps you silent and stuck, decaying every day until you eventually get so beyond sick of it all and say “Screw you! I’m out”. “

Emerging from the constraints of Adelaide equipped with an arsenal of candid and moody life lessons penned in her bedroom, her breakout single ‘Why Is She So Beautiful?’ introduced Jess’s honest storytelling to audiences around the nation with her securing Feature Artist on triple j Unearthed and airplay on triple j. The tale of heartbreak also featured in a bevvy of playlists including Breaking Singer Songwriters on Apple Music US and Best of the Week on Apple Music AU, alongside Front Left, New Music Friday AU/NZ and Lazy Sunday on Spotify.
