Jimmy Sax is set to take his talents to his widest audience to date as he shares the new single ‘A Million Miles’, which features Steve Edwards, whose vocal class has graced tracks from AxwellThe ShapeshiftersCassius and Bob Sinclar.

A future summer smash, ‘A Million Miles’ finds Jimmy channelling his distinctive talents into a song of vibrant pop appeal. From Steve Edwards’ smooth, soulful vocals to Jimmy’s enlivening sax, everything about the song feels so naturally uplifting. That feel-good sound is sure to cast its spell in the coming months, appealing as much to the energy of the dancefloor as it will to laidback late nights by the poolside.

‘A Million Miles’ was produced by The Avener (best known for his global hit ‘Fade Out Lines’) and Martin Gregory Smith. In addition to the saxophone, Jimmy also performs guitar on the track.

A multi-instrumentalist with a particularly fervent passion for the sax, Jimmy’s breakthrough moment came with an improvised performance of ‘No Man No Cry’ which captured the public imagination to such an extent that it has now received over 200 million views. That song went on to fire up his artist career, leading to further hits such as ‘Time’ and ‘Ibiza’, a Platinum-certified collab with the French rap star Jul, as well as his own 2021 debut album.

Jimmy Sax is a huge draw in the live arena, having performed to more than 130,000 people during his European headline tour of 2022 – a show that was captured in that year’s live album ‘Jimmy – Live Symphonic Orchestra’. Bigger things are to come, with two nights at the Olympia in Paris already sold-out seven months in advance, as well as a major arena show at the Palazzo dello Sport in Rome.

‘A Million Miles’ also marks Jimmy Sax’s inaugural release under a new agreement with Claudio Ferrante’s multifaceted music company, 360° Artist First (A1), which specialises in management, promotion, booking, merchandising, record, and distribution. Their label roster includes prominent Italian artists like Alfa and Francesco Gabbani. Noteworthy successes in the Italian market, facilitated by A1, include Blue, with a sold-out tour of Italy in 2024, and Sophie and the Giants.
