The new single from Jose Lucas, “Close To You”, is a smooth, chill pop song that engages from the very first note. A wash of oceans surf with impeccable classical guitar introduce the melody before the beautiful vocals emerge. Expressing the yearning of love, the repeated lyrics elaborate on the urgency of desire. While Swedish producer Lucas focuses his production on the guitar and vocals, tasteful effects are included. Very infectious and catchy, this excellent third single from the Deep Tropical House artist feels perfect for the winter season.

Jose Lucas started his musical career as a classical guitarist earning a masters degree at The Royal College of Music, Stockholm. He then changed direction to be an artist/songwriter/producer. With cuts in Belgium, UK, and USA, he finally found his call: guitar-based deep tropical house. The first single “If It Weren’t For Love” charted in Europe, Asia and South/North America, hitting #1 in Austria. He also released an official remix of James Blunts “Love Me Better”. In addition his 2nd single “Count On Me” is available.
