Los Angeles based artist LUMiN is kicking off the decade with his sixth single “The Worst Thing” which was released on January 24th. Unlike his previous singles, “The Worst Thing” delivers an upbeat synth arrangement that brings a fresh approach to nostalgic sounds, created in part by co-producer Blake Healy of American Pop-Rock band Metro Station.
After resigning his publishing to Sony ATV in 2019, he closed the year with the release of his 5th single, mixed by legendary Mark Needham who is known for his work with The Killers, Imagine Dragons, and Fleetwood Mac. This single was followed by his two biggest shows to date, a headlining set at LA’s Troubadour and the first-ever LUMiN’s Bloody Hell-O-Ween at Boardners Hollywood. 2020 is the beginning of a new era for LUMiN.
