Lykke Li – “No One Ever Loved”

Last week, Lykke Li released her gorgeous, heart-rended album I Never Learn. But she’s still got soft-focus anthems for days. The soundtrack to the forthcoming movie The Fault In Our Stars, which also features Charli XCX’s great “Boom Clap,” boasts a lovely new Lykke Li song called “No One Ever Loved.” It’s a relatively stripped-back song, with only a reverbed-out guitar and piano accompanying Li, and it would fit into I Never Learn just fine musically.
