Rising indie-rock force meg elsier unveils her Audiotree live session, now available to watch on YouTube and listen to on streaming platforms. Recorded in Chicago earlier this year while on tour with Blondshell, the session captures meg’s magnetic live presence and raw, off-kilter charm.
Joined by bassist Jashaun Smith and drummer Hayden Cotcher, meg delivers dynamic performances of fan favorites “spittake,” “itznotreal,” “ifshitfuq,” “eastside,” and “baby.” The set spotlights the qualities that have quickly set her apart in the indie-rock landscape.
The YouTube version also features an exclusive interview with meg, offering fans a closer look at her creative process and the world behind her music.
One of indie rock’s most exciting new voices, meg elsier blends sweet, airy vocals and lush melodies with grungy guitars and weighty production. Earlier this year, she released spittake (deluxe), an expanded edition of her debut album. Her music has already earned early praise from tastemakers including DIY Magazine, Ones To Watch, DORK, and CLASH.
Known for her frenetic, emotionally charged live shows, meg has built a reputation for creating an intimate, communal energy on stage, inviting audiences into the raw intensity of her music. She’s toured alongside Blondshell, Liz Cooper, and Finom, and will return to New York this fall for two special performances: a support slot for Martin Luke Brown at Baby’s All Right on September 25, followed by the We Save Us abortion access benefit series at Brooklyn Bowl on October 19. Tickets for both shows are on sale now.
