Melanie C’s highly-anticipated self-titled eighth studio album is out. The record was launched alongside four, hugely successful full-band global live stream events this week – ‘Colour And Light’ – and continues a whirlwind of activity for the legendary Sporty Spice.
The album contains the acclaimed singles ‘In And Out Of Love’, ‘Blame It On Me’, ‘Who I Am’, a recent collaboration with U.K rapper and rising star Nadia Rose (‘Fearless’), and more future-classics from an artist undoubtedly reaching a new peak of her pop powers, easily making this her most life-affirming, attitude-packed album to date. Sonically inspired by spending several months last year touring Pride parades with the LGBTQ+ club collective Sink The Pink, ‘Melanie C’ is a celebration of self, an album of arms-aloft anthems of self-acceptance.

The album also features established producers and long-term collaborators including Johnny Lattimer (Ellie Goulding, Rag’n’Bone Man), Future Cut (Little Mix, Lily Allen), Tom Neville (Dua Lipa, Calvin Harris), George Reid (AlunaGeorge) and Biff Stannard, best known for co-writing the Spice Girls biggest hits.
