Ned’s played festivals like Glastonbury, Bestival, BoomTown, Secret Garden Party and Beautiful Days among many others, leaving lasting impressions with his memorable, high-energy performances.
Come Over, Ned’s next single is out on August 30th. The track is produced by legendary, multi-award-winning producers Wizard (the Chemical Brothers/Chase & Status/M.I.A./Wiley/Alabama 3), Gordon Raphael (the Strokes’ first three albums/Regina Spektor’s Soviet Kitsch/Skunk Anansie’s Skin/Hinds), Jonny Delafons (Alabama 3) and rising producer Ollie Mackenzie, who are also handling production for his project. There’s even a bit of production from Ned too.
Ned has received coverage, airplay and praise from the likes of BBC Radio 2, Amazing Radio, Tom Robinson, American Songwriter, BBC News, Union Jack Radio, CBBC’s the Slammer, Jim Gellatly and even Sir Tim Rice! Ned’s also had the honour of having his tracks selected to be part of the Joe Strummer Foundation’s well-loved compilations.
As a journalist he’s interviewed Patti Smith, Maxi Jazz (Faithless), Mark Kermode, Rick Edwards, Frank Turner, Don Letts, Isaiah Dreads, Alabama 3, Lucy Rose, the Levellers, the Correspondents and more. He’s also hosted festival-themed radio specials for multiple stations, including Secret FM (Secret Garden Party’s official on-site station).
Ned’s explosive live set showcases his unique sound by mixing electronica with live instrumentation, characterful social commentary-filled lyrics and an 8-piece-band featuring his DJ/live programmer, violinist, cellist, live drummer, backing vocalist, pianist and lead guitarist to create a truly exciting, unmissable show. Ned’s 2019 gigs are already looking to be brilliant, with many exciting dates soon to be announced.
