NOANNE is an artist from Prague creating emotionally charged, cinematic music that draws listeners into worlds of introspection, imagination and self-discovery. Influenced by film, theatre and visual storytelling, she crafts immersive musical experiences that blur the boundaries between reality and illusion. Embracing her introverted nature as a creative strength, NOANNE explores the darker corners of human emotion through atmospheric songwriting and striking conceptual narratives.
NOANNE’s new single “Suite 17” features acclaimed producer, musician and singer-songwriter Gregory Darling, a four-time Billboard Top 30 artist known for his work as a co-writer and collaborator with Julian Lennon and Gregg Alexander (the songwriter and producer behind major hits including Sophie Ellis-Bextor’s “Murder on the Dancefloor”), among many other projects across his extensive career.
“Suite 17” is a cinematic psychological noir inspired by Hitchcock-era suspense films, forgotten letters and the seductive pull of self-destruction. Chosen deliberately to mirror the song’s title, the release date of July 17th reflects the significance of “Suite 17” as more than simply a location. The title itself plays on the duality between “suite” and “sweet”, exploring the fine line between seduction and destruction, intimacy and obsession.
Built like a lost black-and-white thriller unfolding through music, “Suite 17” follows the mysterious figure of “Jack”, introduced through the haunting refrain, “My name is Jack, I live in Suite 17…” Never fully explained, Jack exists somewhere between memory, temptation and the familiar pull of destructive patterns, appearing at the moment someone begins to lose themselves. Originally inspired by a real story about a letter arriving after its sender’s death, the song explores the inner voice that draws us back to emotional places we know we should leave behind. Jack becomes a symbol of memory, temptation and repetition, blurring the line between comfort and danger as the listener is drawn deeper into the story.
Gregory Darling’s verses offer the perspective of someone witnessing another person disappear beneath the weight of that inner struggle, while NOANNE’s voice inhabits the seductive force at the centre of the story. Rather than presenting a traditional villain, the song portrays something far more unsettling: a reflection of the self that becomes impossible to escape. Gregory reflects, “A tune which has been lying dormant for years until NOANNE stepped into the equation, which I felt was the perfect voice and artist to collaborate with and deliver a solid duet with heartfelt conviction.”
Musically, “Suite 17” combines dramatic orchestration, shadowy atmospheres and cinematic storytelling to create a world suspended between dream and nightmare. Featuring strings performed by the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia and recorded at Rome’s historic Forum Studios, co-founded by Ennio Morricone, the single reimagines classic noir aesthetics through a modern lens, exploring themes of obsession, illusion, emotional dependency and identity.
NOANNE’s artistic vision has earned growing international recognition, including Grammy consideration in 2024 for Best Music Video for “Goodwill” and Best Pop Solo Performance for “White Glove”. She was an official selection at the Oscar-qualifying HollyShorts Film Festival for “Goodwill”, created and directed the sold-out music show Goodwill at Prague’s Royal Theatre, and became an accredited composer at the Cannes Film Festival in both 2025 and 2026. A Top 8 finalist at Miss Universe Czechia 2026, she has also recently performed with an orchestra at Prague’s Church of St. Simon and Jude, continuing to expand her multidisciplinary approach to music, performance and visual storytelling.
