The line is thrown, reeling you in to Phoebe Coco’s latest single from her forthcoming debut album out on Sharp Attack Records. It is ‘Different’, where stars collide and time dissolves. Accompanied by a video, a telescopic view through milky blue waters, it stars Phoebe’s sisters, identical twins Grace and Dorothy. The three sisters swim rippling through the water mirroring the rippling electronics and arpeggiated piano of the song. . Phoebe Coco’s piano is reminiscent of Phillip Glass and undulates with synth bass, drum machines, harmonicas and shakers with the voices of Phoebe Coco and her sisters textured harmonies lulling us throughout. Co-produced by Marc Makarov, Vanessa Anne Redd (of Sharp Attack Records) and Phoebe herself, it has been mixed by multi Grammy award winning Eduardo De La Paz, and mastered by Kevin Tuffy. There will be a release gig at Stoke Newington’s Doña on the 4th of February so come along..
