Along with the mellow beats, the music video is what adds to the atmosphere of this track. The video makes you feel as if you are walking with Traffic discussing the complexities of life.
The casual nature creates an environment of personal reflection. Reflection is a quality I like to see in up and coming MCs and is a characteristic I hope Traffic continues to hone.
I feel Waves’ distinguishes Traffic from the pack as a reflective voice within the underground community and I would recommend this release for any Hip-Hop fan.
